day five...

Yo, I'm late again, lol.

Yesterday was nice, but also kind of mid? I was so lazy to go to school in the morning since I had went to the concert the night before (read day four...). I mustered (is that right?) the little bit of energy I had to get my ass to my Ethnics class because I had a presentation I had to do. I show up ready to do my part, but this shit was crazyyyy. Let me describe what the assignment was first. Basically we each bring in an item that represents our culture and you tell your partner what it means to you and how it connects to your culture. We then go up an present the other persons item and all the information they gave us. This girl brought in a bible, which is fine, but what I was not expecting was for her to bring THREE pages, front and back, full of text that she wanted me to read like a speech. It was literally 80% bible versus. She was basically talking about how she wants everyone else to believe in Jesus and other Christian stuff, which I mean good for her? live your truth, but that's for you to say on your own time. Not for me to be preaching. So, I told her that I don't feel comfortable reading it, and I had to tell the professor as well and everyone was just hearing me lol. I didn't want to come across as "stubborn," but like I am not going to be the one preaching someone else's message. She didn't even connect the actual item itself to herself, she just used this as an opportunity to preach about god. That isn't my job to do, that's hers since it is her belief. Anyway, she was up there for like 5 minutes reading versus and preaching about sins and what not. Later in the day though she send me an email "apologizing" and says, AND I QUOTE, "I hope that one day you will find peace in your own life."

This bitch pissed me off so bad, anyway, Monday threw me off... but thank you to Annali for getting me through the day <3
